Falz, the Nigerian rapper and actor born Folarin Falana, recently sang praises of Nollywood powerhouse Funke Akindele.

“Funke hit me up on Insta, I think,” Falz recalled with a chuckle. “She’d seen my stuff and had this project brewing. Wanted me to hop on board.”
Little did Falz know, that DM would lead to his breakout role in the smash-hit series “Jenifa’s Diary”. Fast forward to today, and the dynamic duo are cooking up something fresh with “Everybody Loves Jenifa”.
But it’s not just their on-screen chemistry that Falz raves about. He’s in awe of Akindele’s relentless drive. “I swear, I’ve never met anyone in this industry who grinds harder than Funke,” he declared. “She’s on another level, man.”
