Here is our about and fraud policy. Read it very carefully, as we take our policy very seriously.
1. Purpose and Zero Tolerance Statement
1.1 This Abuse and Fraud Policy, referred to as this “Policy”, sets out the conduct we consider abusive or fraudulent on the Platform, and the actions we may take in response.
1.2 Kreator maintains a zero-tolerance position toward fraud and abuse on the Platform. We do not make exceptions based on the amount of money involved, the seniority or standing of a user, the length of time an Account has existed, or any claim of ignorance of this Policy.
1.3 This Policy forms part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Any defined term used in this Policy that is not defined here has the meaning given to it in our Terms of Service.
1.4 This Policy applies to every user of the Platform, including Readers, Creators, affiliates, and any other person who accesses or interacts with the Platform in any way.

3.8.2 Encouraging, coordinating, or participating in a campaign to harass, defraud, or manipulate the Platform or another user.
4. Detection and Investigation
4.1 We use a combination of automated systems and human review to monitor activity on the Platform for signs of fraud and abuse. The specific methods, signals, and thresholds we use for this purpose are confidential and are not disclosed publicly in order to preserve their effectiveness.
4.2 We may investigate any Account, transaction, or activity that we reasonably believe may involve fraud or abuse, and we may request additional information or verification from a user as part of that investigation.
4.3 A user’s failure to respond to a reasonable request for information during an investigation may itself be treated as a factor supporting enforcement action under this Policy.
5. Consequences of Fraud and Abuse
5.1 Where we determine, in our reasonable judgment, that a user has engaged in conduct prohibited by this Policy, we may take any one or more of the following actions, at our discretion, depending on the nature and severity of the conduct.
5.1.1 Issue a warning to the user.
5.1.2 Remove, restrict, or demonetize the Content involved.
5.1.3 Suspend or permanently disable the Account involved, including any linked or related Accounts.
5.1.4 Withhold, reverse, or permanently forfeit any Wallet balance, commission, reward, or other credit that resulted from or is connected to the prohibited conduct.
5.1.5 Disqualify a Story Award entry and void any votes associated with it.
5.1.6 Permanently bar the user from participating in specific features of the Platform, including the affiliate program, Story Awards, or monetization generally, without necessarily terminating the Account entirely.
5.1.7 Report the conduct to our payment processors, including Paystack, Flutterwave, and Korapay, and to any relevant regulatory or law enforcement authority.
5.1.8 Pursue any other legal remedy available to us, including civil action to recover losses caused by the prohibited conduct.
5.2 We reserve the right to take any of the actions described in this Section immediately, and without prior notice, where we reasonably believe immediate action is necessary to prevent ongoing harm, financial loss, or further violation of this Policy.
5.3 A forfeiture of Wallet funds under this Policy is treated as a permanent forfeiture, and the user will have no claim to recover the forfeited amount, except where required otherwise by applicable law.
6. Cooperation With Payment Processors and Authorities
6.1 We reserve the right to share relevant information about a user and their activity, including identity information, transaction records, and evidence of prohibited conduct, with our payment processors and with law enforcement or regulatory authorities, where we believe this is necessary to investigate or address fraud or abuse, or where required by law.
6.2 Kreator will fully cooperate with any lawful investigation into fraud or abuse connected to the Platform, and will not obstruct or delay such an investigation on behalf of any user.
7. Reporting Suspected Fraud or Abuse
7.1 If you believe you have witnessed, or been the victim of, fraud or abuse on the Platform, please report it to us immediately through the support channels available on the Platform.
7.2 When submitting a report, please provide as much detail as possible, including the Account or Content involved, and any evidence supporting your report.
7.3 We take every report seriously and will review it, though the specific outcome of an individual investigation, and the internal reasoning behind it, will generally not be shared in full with the reporting user, in order to protect the integrity of our investigation process.
7.4 Submitting a knowingly false report of fraud or abuse against another user is itself a violation of this Policy and may result in enforcement action against the person submitting the false report.
8. Appeals
8.1 A user who has had an Account suspended, Content removed, or funds withheld or forfeited under this Policy may submit an appeal through the support channels available on the Platform.
8.2 An appeal should explain, clearly and honestly, why the user believes the enforcement action was made in error.
8.3 We will review appeals in good faith, but the final decision on any appeal rests solely with Kreator, and, in cases involving clear evidence of fraud or abuse, we reserve the right to decline to reverse an enforcement action.
9. Final Authority
9.1 All determinations under this Policy, including whether conduct constitutes fraud or abuse, and what action, if any, to take in response, are made at the sole and final discretion of Kreator.
9.2 Kreator’s decision to take, or not to take, action against one instance of prohibited conduct does not obligate Kreator to take the same action in any other instance, and does not waive our right to enforce this Policy in the future.
9.3 This Policy does not create any right for a user to demand a specific outcome, penalty, or remedy against another user, and enforcement of this Policy is solely a matter between Kreator and the user whose conduct is in question.
10. Changes to This Policy
10.1 We may update this Policy from time to time to address new forms of fraud or abuse or to reflect changes in the Platform or applicable law.
10.2 The version of this Policy in effect at the time of the conduct in question will generally govern our assessment of that conduct, though we reserve the right to apply an updated Policy where the underlying conduct is ongoing or continuing.
11. Contact Us
