Story Awards are time-limited competitions where readers vote for their favorite stories, and the top stories win a reward for their creators.
How a story enters
Creators can submit one of their stories as an entry into an active Story Award. Once entered, the story becomes eligible to receive votes from readers for as long as the award stays open.
How voting works
Readers support their favorite entries using voting power. Every reader gets a set amount of free voting power each month through their platform subscription, and once that is used up, additional votes can be purchased. Guests who are not logged in may also be able to vote on some awards, depending on how the creator or admin has set it up.
Winning an award
Each Story Award has a vote target and a set number of winner slots. The first stories to reach the required number of votes are declared winners, in the order they cross that line, and the reward is credited directly to the winning creator’s wallet.

Every vote, whether free or paid, counts toward your story’s progress in the award, so votes are a direct way for your readers to help your story win and to support you as a creator.
Checking your standing
You can check how your entry is doing, including how close you are to the vote target, from your dashboard while the award is active.
